Will I lose any functionality when I move to the cloud?
That said, some on-prem users might notice the following functionality is not available in EZLease Cloud:
- Ability to create new companies/databases on your own
- Ability to move records between companies/databases
- Ability to save and load multiple separate lease databases
- Ability to maintain an archive database
Additionally, existing customer-specific customizations cannot be migrated to the cloud. This affects less than 10 customers. We will work one-on-one with affected customers to determine the best path forward.
Will there be a price change when I move to the cloud?
Cloud pricing is based solely on lease count, which means your price could go up or down when moving to the cloud. A formal price quote will be provided during the standard contract renewals process at the end of your current contract, or earlier if you opt to move to the cloud before your current contract is up for renewal.
Do I have to move to the cloud?
You can continue using EZLease on-prem through the end of your current contract; however, all new contracts and renewals must be for EZlease Cloud.
How does the migration process work?
Migrating to the cloud is simple. In short, you will send us copies of your EZLease database(s), and we will import all data to a new EZLease Cloud instance. Your leases, attachments, account number groups, etc. will all be carried over to the cloud.
Once migrated, you will access EZLease from app.ezlease.com. Nothing will be stored on your computer other than reports you download.
What does EZLease cloud look like?
EZLease Cloud is a combination of both the existing EZLease application you’re used to and a new, modern cloud design. This makes transitioning to the cloud a smooth process as all your current EZLease experience still applies. More info here: Release 9.0

What if I submit a support ticket while still using on-prem?
We will respond to all support requests whether you are using on-prem or cloud.
Depending on the nature of your support request, we may recommend moving to the cloud to resolve your ticket as no updates are planned for on-prem.
What’s the newest version of on-prem available?
Version 8.3.4 is the latest on-prem release is available for download.
It includes all accounting improvements from 8.0 and 8.1 cloud releases, which means you may notice reporting output changes after the update. We recommend reviewing the full list of accounting changes on the Product Updates page prior to installing the update.
It also includes a slight design refresh, bug fixes, and enables ARO for all on-prem lessee customers.
How can I determine how many leases I currently have?
When you open your lease database in EZLease on-prem, you can see the record count in the bottom-left corner of the UI. If you have multiple lease databases, you'll need to check the record count for each.
