Merge is most useful for users upgrading from EZ13 version 4 or earlier, which did not permit multiple layers for an ARO. Setting up multiple layers had to be handled as separate AROs. If you set up layers that way, you may wish to combine all the AROs into a single ARO for the property.
Choose Merge All AROs from the ARO menu or context menu. The first ARO in alphabetical order remains, with its layers unchanged. The moved AROs are turned into additional layers; the layer name is the existing ARO name, a space, and the existing layer name (if any). If the combined name is more than the 25-character maximum, it is abbreviated.
There is no financial impact to merging AROs.
