You may want to put a suffix at the end of certain account numbers. For example, the account number to be used for uploading into your general ledger may include both the overall account number and a division code, perhaps separated by a dash. To set this up, choose Add Suffix in the Account Numbering window of System Options.
Once you have chosen to Add Suffix, you may enter the separator (if any), and the user-defined field which holds the lease's suffix. Then check the box next to each account which should have the suffix. (A suffix is added to all numbers for a particular account, no matter which group is chosen for a lease, or if the lease's account numbers are customized.) You may set all accounts to the same status (on or off) by holding down the Shift key when changing any individual checkbox.
