EZLease sets the Read Only attribute on a database when it closes to protect against unintentional changes to the database. If that attribute is not set when you try to open the database, it indicates that the database was not closed normally. In most cases, this does not damage the file, but it’s possible that changes were not fully saved, which could cause problems. EZLease is asking to check the database for errors before opening it. This is normal behavior. If you get a substantial number of errors reported, however, or the changes EZLease says it is making to correct them seem questionable, it may be best to cancel the repair (not allow EZLease to save its planned changes), and contact EZLease support for assistance.
