Overview

You may occasionally need to either move or copy an ARO from one lease to another. To do this, display the lease with the AROs you want, then choose Move/Copy AROs from the ARO menu or the ARO context menu. Select the lease to receive the AROs and choose either Move (to delete the AROs from the existing lease) or Copy (to have a copy of the ARO attached to both the old and the new leases).

Note that this performs an exact copy: the new ARO is identical to the old one. If you move the ARO, the database now looks as if the ARO had always belonged to the new lease. An alternative way to move an ARO is to transfer terminate and transfer add the ARO. If you do this, the activity on the ARO up to the termination date remains connected to the original lease; only later activity belongs to the new lease. If you select the Transfer termination type for the ARO, EZLease will automatically create a new transfer add ARO for the new lease you specify.
