You may want to share some of the files that hold settings-type information. The two most important files are the options settings file and the account number groups database.
The options settings file contains settings for all the System Options.
The account number groups database contains general ledger account numbers for lease activity, selection lists for user-defined fields, and possibly additional lists if you have purchased optional modules.
Sharing these files will ensure consistent reporting between users. In addition, placing them on a server may make backups easier (servers are typically backed up automatically, while individual users’ computers may not be).
Note: If you are using the Lite Edition (single database) and change the location for the lease database, you are given the option to move both settings files to the same folder at the same time.
