Overview
EZLease offers multi-company functionality, enabling users to manage multiple companies (databases) with separate system configurations within a single EZLease cloud instance. This feature streamlines the login process and makes navigating between clients (databases) more intuitive and efficient.
Multi-company is ideal for a variety of account types, including:
- Businesses who provide managed services for numerous clients.
- Organizations that are required to report under multiple accounting standards.
- Companies that perform testing, and require a sandbox in addition to their production instance.
Multi-company is an add-on feature; if you'd like to discuss adding MC to your account, submit a support request or contact Sales.

- Single username and password for all systems, eliminating the need to track multiple credentials.
- Separate instances allow for reporting under multiple accounting standards, fiscal calendars, and implementation dates.

*Consolidated multi-company reporting is on the roadmap for a future release of EZLease.
Navigating Multi-company
Login and Homepage
If your account includes multi-company functionality, a drop-down menu will appear at the top of the Dashboard upon login. This menu allows you to switch between client databases to view metrics and run client-specific reports.
If you don't see a client name in the drop-down, you either don't have access to that database or the environment hasn't been provisioned in your account yet. Check with your account Super Admin to make sure the client has been created and to provide access. If you need to request a new client be provisioned, contact EZLease support.
Company Selection
After selecting the appropriate workspace (lessee or lessor), a new company selection window will appear, allowing you to choose the desired company instance for your work. The table displays company name, roles (permissions), and lease limit for easy reference.
Choose a company, by simply selecting the desired choice and clicking Confirm. A success window will validate your company selection, after which the lease management workspace will load for the database selected.
Switching between companies (Databases)
When you need to switch companies, you have two options:
- Close and re-open EZLease.
-OR-
- Click on the Catalog icon located on the left side of the top ribbon, and select either EZLease Lessee or EZLease Lessor. The company selection window will appear, allowing you to switch to a different company.
